So its been along time since I've blogged and A LOT has happened in the past few weeks. I just got back from a fantastic trip to Belize with my two great friends Amy and Gigi. I was an amazing week. I could go on and tell you about swimming with the sharks and our private helicopter ride over the blue hole, but I wouldn't want to make anyone jealous- haha.
But now back to the real world... unfortunately. Here I am again during the holidays without family celebrating christmas eve by myself. But fortunatley I have great friends to celebrate christmas with tomorrow. I'm soooo looking forward to the feast created by julie and having some wine and good friend time with her and gigi. I wish i could be home with my mom, though i would be freezing my ass off up there in iowa now ( which makes me wonder how amy's doing in MO- is it cold enough for you?? haha)
Well its not quite time for new years resolutions but that's coming up around the corner. Believe me i have plenty on my list for 2009. But that will come with the next blog.
So I say for now.... Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night. Love ya.

Turkey Day
Gotta love turkey day. I have to say this has been probably the best turkey day I've had in dallas yet, that's in 3 yrs. I got to go to the Cowboys game with my great friend Amy and then had turkey and all the fixins afterwards with amy and gigi post game. And I'm still full!!!
Though I couldn't be with family, this was the best was to spend thanksgiving. though i will say i did cry a little tonite at the post game dinner with my favorite movie playin. But it wasn't a sad cry.
On the other hand i did hear from my long lost father tonite for the first time in awhile which was somewhat sad but nice that he actually bothered to call. so may the holidays are a time to make a new start? I'm not sure where to go with that whole relationship.
life is very confusing, especially at this time of year. I don't know if other people feel that way but i imagine they do. family, relationships its the time to forgive but i think you should never forget. maybe that's spite but i think it's being realistic. you learn from where you have been so you should never forget. but sometimes you have to be the bigger person and move on.... I'm just not sure i'm there yet with this situation.
But to leave all on a happier note. looking forward to a GREAT trip in belize in a few weeks. can't wait to sit on the beach and sip some fruity drinks!!
So to all a good turkey day and a good post turkey coma nite:)

Kickball Tuesdays
So played kickball tonite. Only played catcher since I'm not supposed to play cuz of my back but went to support the team! Lost the first game but we played well and tied the second, go Just the Tipp Inn!! I must say we had some pretty awesome plays later in the game. Glad I could make it and the post game wrap up is always a plus:)
Looking forward to turkey day and hopefully a Cowboys win! Wish I could be with my family but good friends are always a close second. Hope everyone is doing as well and has plans to be with loved ones this holiday. Take care and I'll let you know how the game goes.
